Hutcherson named SMH employee of the month

Transport services employee Joe Hutcherson of Somers Point has been named the Shore Memorial Hospital employee of the month for November.

Gina Eberly of the Nuclear Medicine department cited Hutcherson’s responsiveness to staff and patient needs.

"This past March Joe was involved in a Code Blue in Nuclear Medicine. He assisted the Code Team with his quick actions that helped prepare the patient for chest compressions and cardiovascular shock,” she said, noting that he maintained his composure, displayed professionalism and gave his full attention to the patient.

Hutcherson joined Shore Memorial in October 2005 as a transporter and has received the Team Player and the Pat on the Back awards.
