Hoffman, Louis "Champ" , - 77, of Atlantic City, passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, Champ was a longtime shore resident and a graduate of Atlantic City High School. He proudly served with the U.S. Army during the early 1960s. Champ was a well-known radio talk show host, anchoring shows like "Champ & Company", on many local stations for many years. He was also a past-President of the Atlantic City Zoning Board. Champ was a great man who loved people and he was always available to help out anyone in need. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rachelle Hoffman; sons, Jody (Angela) Hersh and Jeffrey Hersh and his beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Joey and Brian. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Wednesday, October 19th, at 11am, at ROTH-GOLDSTEINS' MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Pacific & New Hampshire Avenues in Atlantic City, NJ.
