Biggie is a 3-year-old miniature pinscher mix with pointy, little ears and a big personality. He is brindle and long. Having arrived at the Humane Society of Ocean City after his owner died, Biggie is in search of someone new to call his own. He is spirited, spry and loves to play.

He also loves to snuggle, although he needs to warm up to you first. He enjoys some quality lap time. He is an intelligent dog with a rudimentary understanding of some basic obedience, and he has been known to walk and hop on his hind legs.

Biggie would be a best buddy most suitable with an adult or a couple. He is not suitable for young children. Other dogs may be OK, but a meet-and-greet beforehand is a must. Cats are unknown to him.

Biggie is neutered and current on his vaccinations. Adopted animals from the Humane Society of Ocean City receive an alumni card that entitles them to a lifetime discount for veterinary services there.

The Humane Society is a no-kill shelter. To see Biggie or for more information about an animal for adoption, call 609-398-9500, visit hsocnj.org or stop in any day between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 1 Shelter Road, off Tennessee Avenue.
