The Trammps, The Dovells and The Blue Notes will bring their rock and soul rhythms to the Ocean City Music Pier Saturday, May 6 for a “Philly Soul and Rock & Roll Concert” charity concert to benefit Ocean City Morvay-Miley American Legion Post 524.

The show will take listeners back to the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s with performances of former top-10 hits and oldie favorites including “Disco Inferno” and “Hold Back the Night” by The Tramps, “Bristol Stomp” and “You Can’t Sit Down” by The Dovells, and “The Love I Lost” and “If You Don’t Know Me By Now” by The Blue Notes.

South Jersey radio personality “Philly” Bill Culp of WIBG 94.3 will host the show, which is produced by Distinct Events Unlimited.

Show time is 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online at ocnj.us/boxoffice or by calling 609-525-9248. Tickets will also be for sale at City Hall, 861 Asbury Ave., and the Ocean City Welcome Center on the Route 52 causeway.
