AVALON — The Avalon Free Public Library is has begun a two-month campaign encouraging patrons to “Love your library.” The campaign runs through April 14, the conclusion of Library Appreciation Week.

“Bookended between Valentine's Day and National Library Week, our ‘love your library’ campaign is a great way for us to show appreciation for our amazing patrons," said Erin Brown, library director. “Understanding what services they most value helps us be responsive and plan for the future.”

Brown encouraged patrons to comment in person or via social media on what they love most about the Avalon Free Public Library. From the technology programming, movie nights, digital services and more, library staff wants to hear what users value the most about what the library has to offer, she said.

The responses will be entered weekly for a chance to win prizes including gift cards, library swag and more.
