Ocean City Home Bank recently donated more than $100,000 to two dozen local charities, groups and events.


OCEAN CITY — A philanthropic group of Ocean City Home Bank staff recently distributed $110,000 in grants to 24 local charities, groups, places and events ahead of the holiday season.

The grants from the Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation were announced at a reception Monday, Dec. 15, according to a press release. Over the last 12 years, the foundation has donated more than $1.2 million, according to the release.

Individual amounts from the grant money will benefit: Adelaide’s Place, American Red Cross, Atlantic City Ballet, Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Cape Shore Chorale, Career Opportunity Development, Inc., Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Eagle Theatre, Egg Harbor Township Dog Park, Every Breath Counts, Faces 4 Autism, Family Promise of Atlantic County, Farmington Fire Company, First Night Ocean City, Humane Society of Ocean City, John R. Elliott Foundation, Ocean City Arts Center, Ocean City High School After Prom, Ocean City Historical Museum, South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble, South Jersey Cancer Fund, The Alcove, Ventnor City Cultural Art Center and Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.
