PLEASANTVILLE - An Absecon man was arrested recently for a robbery over the summer at a Pleasantville business, Captain Matt Hartman said Monday, Oct. 17.
Jeremy Hill, 29, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 11 at the Absecon Townhomes with the assistance of the Absecon Police Department in connection with an Aug. 29 robbery at Main Street Communications, 235 S. Main St., Hartman said.
Detective Miguel Lugo investigation revealed surveillance footage of the suspect. A still photo had been released to the public.
Hill was identified as the suspect because of the public's overwhelming assistance.
Hill was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $150,000 bail. In addition to robbery, Hill is charged with aggravated assault, theft and weapon offenses.
“The Pleasantville Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in solving this crime and arresting the perpetrator,” Hartman said.
