ATLANTIC CITY — The body of one of the missing teens off the coast off Atlantic City has been located in Margate, authorities said.

The body of Kaliy-ah Hand, 16, of Atlantic City was located Monday morning at Jefferson Avenue beach in Margate, more than five miles down the shore line from where they disappeared, according to the Atlantic City Police.

The other teen, Ramon Quinn, 15, of Pleasantville, who went missing in the ocean with Hand, has not been located.

At 5:03 a.m., a Margate police officer located the body on the beach, police said. Dr. Gerald Feigin of the Southern Regional Medical Examiner Office performed the autopsy and identified it as Hand. Her family has been notified, police said.

The call came in at 6:27 p.m. Thursday that the two swimmers were in the ocean at Martin Luther King Boulevard and were struggling, police Sgt. Kevin Fair said.

The families of both missing teens waited on the beach Thursday night and all of Friday hoping for news about the two.

Witnesses and police said Quinn was pulled under the water when he went to help Hand get out of a rip current.
