PLEASANTVILLE — A spectacular evening skyline at Lakes Bay Marina was the backdrop June 17 for the city’s third annual Sunset Wine Tasting.

“We love welcoming new and returning guests to our Sunset Wine Tasting events,” said Mayor Jesse Tweedle Sr. “People come from across South Jersey and Philadelphia to socialize, taste great wines and enjoy what Pleasantville has to offer.”

Guests were treated to live music and sampled fine wines from South Jersey vineyards and wine distributors, including Vermeil Wines, Joe Canal’s Discount Liquor Outlet with Harrison Beverage, South Jersey Wine Friends and XV Exclusives with Canal’s of Mays Landing.

Madeline Amado-Buell, of Pleasantville, won a wine refrigerator donated by Art Handler’s Appliance Center.

The wine tasting, sponsored by Performance Marketing, Peter Lumber and Art Handler’s, was the first event of Pleasantville’s 2017 Bayview Summer Series.

Proceeds benefited the Pleasantville Envisions Pride and Prosperity Committee.
