ATLANTIC CITY — The annual Atlantic City Restaurant Week kickoff event will be held 5:30-8 p.m.Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. Sponsored by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, the kickoff event enables attendees to enjoy live entertainment, support worthy causes and sample menu items from many of the finest restaurants in the area.

The event includes a cash bar and samples from the Pre-Chef Grand Prix cooking competition winning menu, held Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Atlantic City Worthington Campus.

A total of 300 tickets will be sold for the kickoff event. Tickets can be purchased in advance through a secure payment portal at or in person at the CRDA’s Boardwalk Information Center, Mississippi Avenue and the Boardwalk in Historic Boardwalk Hall. Tickets are $35. Remaining tickets, if any, will be available for purchase onsite at the event (cash only).

Proceeds from the event benefit the Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy of Culinary Arts. Event attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

The 10th annual Atlantic City Restaurant Week, March 4-9, will feature more than 70 of the area’s fine dining restaurants offering value-priced three-course lunches at $15.18 per person and three-course dinners at $35.18 (tax, gratuity and beverage extra). Gift cards are available at or at the Boardwalk Information Center, Mississippi Avenue and Boardwalk.
