The proposed Atlantic County Master Plan, Open Space and Recreation Plan, and Farmland Preservation Plan are available for public review, said Linda Gilmore, county spokesperson.
The public can access the documents at the county web site at www.aclink.org/planning, at county library branches and at local municipal offices.
The plans provide guidance for major countywide initiatives affecting the continued growth and development, she said. Heyer Gruel and Associates prepared the documents after holding a public information session last year to get resident’s suggestions.
A public hearing is 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Anthony “Tony” Canale Training Center, 5033 English Creek Ave., Egg Harbor Township.
Residents can testify at the hearing.
Comments may also be submitted in writing to Robert B. Lindaw, assistant planning director, P.O. Box 719, Northfield, NJ 08225 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Atlantic County Planning Advisory Board will accept comments through Oct. 13. The plans may then be approved, modified or denied by the board without further notice.
