All branches of the Atlantic County Library System are closing early, at noon Saturday, Jan. 7.

All ACUA collections will be performed as scheduled Saturday, Jan. 7.


The Absecon Social and Athletic Club has announced that all ASAC basketball games have been cancelled for Saturday, Jan. 7.

Atlantic City

The Hackney girls invitational swim meet at Atlantic City High School has been postponed until 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, according to The Press of Atlantic City.

The Atlantic City Free Public Library will be closed Saturday, Jan. 7 due to the weather.

The Humane Society of Atlantic County has announced early closing: The HSAC shelter will close at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7; the veterinary clinic will close at noon.


The museum at the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine will be closed Saturday, Jan. 7 due to the weather.


Mainland Regional High School in Linwood has announced that "all events for tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 7) are postponed or canceled due to predicted weather conditions."

These include:

Wrestling quad meet, canceled

Diving, postponed, TBA

Girls swimming, moved to Sunday, Jan. 8.

Boys swimming, postponed, TBA

The pool will also be closed Saturday morning due to weather.


The 2017 Snowflake Shuffle planned for Saturday, Jan. 7, and sponsored by the Special Olympics has been canceled.

Absegami High School Athletics has cancelled all games, matches and practices set for Saturday, Jan. 7.


Due to the current snow storm the Katz JCC will be closing at 1 p.m. today (Saturday, Jan, 7). The Katz JCC will open at its normal time Sunday, Jan. 8

Hamilton Township

The Atlantic County SPCA has announced that its Caturday at the Cabin event, originally set for Saturday, Jan. 7, has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 the SPCA Cabin, 5045 Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Mays Landing.

Due to the inclement weather the Township of Hamilton's Electronics Recycling event scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 7, has been rescheduled for Jan. 14. Call 609-625-6311 details.

All classes and activities at Atlantic Cape Community College are canceled Saturday, Jan. 7, due to inclement weather. Normal operations resume Jan. 8.
