The American Vegan Society will host Valentine's Day dinners 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 13 and 14, at Careme’s restaurant at the Atlantic Cape Community College Mays Landing campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike.
Academy of Culinary Arts students will prepare and present a the meal under the guidance of chef educators. The menu consists of potato and brussels sprouts with carrot-cashew dip, rutabaga-barley soup, oyster mushrooms and arugula salad, beet with polenta, stuffed winter squash with chickpeas and farro, and chocolate chip cookie with vanilla-bourbon ice cream.
The cost is $36 for adults and $26 for students and low-income patrons.
