CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Division of Culture and Heritage is hosting an art exhibit entitled “Wintertime in Cape May” at the Beesley House through Feb. 20.
The Culture and Heritage Commission art gallery committee will present a different exhibit every six months at the Beesley House. The “Wintertime in Cape May” exhibit will feature works from New Jersey artists in many media including: oil, watercolor, pastel, pen/ink, photos, drawing, print and collage. Local artists on display in the exhibit include Peg Dittmar, Anna Marie Zabielski, Fred Arnold and Betty Campbell.
“The purpose of the show is to provide a place for local and regional artists to display their works of art in Cape May County. The gallery at the historic Beesley House is the perfect backdrop to showcase these varied works of art that depict our area during the winter aesthetic,” Freeholder Sue Sheppard said.
The Beesley House, at 605 Route 9 North in Cape May Court House, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
