Monarch butterflies migrate through Cape May County in considerable numbers each fall.

The Nature Center of Cape May will offer the program Magnificent Migrations 11 a.m.-1 p.m. every Saturday through Oct. 27.

Join naturalists as they explore the grounds around the Nature Center and identify the various migrants of the season.

Special attention will be paid to migrating raptors and monarch butterflies. Participants will learn basic identification and the natural history of these creatures.

The program is recommended for families. The cost is $5 per person. To register call 898-8848 or visit the Nature Center at 1600 Delaware Ave., Cape May. Walk-ins are welcome on a space-available basis.
