HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – The Atlantic County Special Services School in Mays Landing will hold its third annual Miles for Student Smiles 5K/Fun Run Sunday, Oct. 28 at the Atlantic County Special Services School campus at 4805 Nawakwa Blvd. in Mays Landing. Run begins at 9 a.m. with registration at 7:30. The race will benefit the school’s education foundation. 

Atlantic County Special Services is one of eight special services schools in the state and serves about 460 students, ages 3-21. Students from the school participated in last year’s race.

Miles for Student Smiles began as an idea to bring together the community, the students, and their families. The school has a variety of programs specific to meeting each student’s needs such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech, nursing services and social work services.

The 5K course is certified and results are posted at www.lmsports.com.
