CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The January Garden Forum presented by Joseph Alvarez is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the Cape May Court House Library, 30 W Mechanic St.
With another gardening season gearing up for the year, the county library suggests with all of the resources at gardeners’ disposal, it’s possible to get lost in the maze of ideas, traditions and fads for the garden.
“A real conversation with sound ideas would be the most helpful at the beginning of this new season,” reads a statement from the library. “Come to the January Garden Forum, bring your questions, problems and concerns and we will help with a little advice, direction and focus for a successful gardening year.”
Alvarez has a bachelor of science degree in biology/environmental science, is a board member of the Friends of Cape May National Wildlife Refuge, a founding member of the Cape May County Beach Plum Association, and is active in many county and agricultural programs in South Jersey.
