The Alcove brings back the go-go
Grab the bell bottoms, pull out the tie-dyed shirt and dust off the disco ball; it’s time to turn the clock back a few decades for the second annual Alcove A Go Go 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, March 1 at Boogie Nights in the Tropicana Atlantic City. The Alcove Center for Grieving Children and Families on Tilton Road in Northfield provides free services to children and family members who have lost significant people in their lives. Proceeds from the event help the Alcove continue its work at the center as well as its school outreach programs. The Alcove A Go Go will feature music, hors d’oeuvres, red and white wine, live and silent auctions and raffle prizes. Tickets are $75, four for $240 or 10 for $500. Sponsorships are still available.
