Middle Township making it easier for new business

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP — Middle Township has created a new pre-application form for those interested in opening a business in the township.

The one-page form comes with no permit fee, and sets up what officials say is an important dialogue between the operator of a new business and the township before the business takes important steps to operate in Middle Township.

Cape May County Chamber president elected to NJ board

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Chamber President Vicki Clark was re-elected to the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as the current president of the New Jersey Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce is a business advocacy organization based in Trenton that works for and is funded by member businesses ranging from solo proprietors to Fortune 500 companies. Members represent every industry doing business in the state, according to local business leaders.

 AVALON — Concord Suites is now a TripAdvisor GreenLeader after demonstrating ongoing green initiatives.

The TripAdvisor GreenLeaders Program recognizes hotels that are committed to green practices, such as alternative energy, water efficiency and recycling. GreenLeaders make a large positive impact on the environment around them, according to TripAdvisor.

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Lauren Wagner, a registered dietitian, has joined the nutritional services department at Cape Regional Medical Center. 

Wagner specializes is weight management and nutritional counseling and works closely with the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program and the diabetes center helping to guide patients toward lifestyle choices which support recovery and improved health, according to hospital officials.
