CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE -- The Middle Township Chamber of Commerce kicked off its series of educational seminars with Diane Serbin Stover, a certified experience economy expert.

The event was held Tuesday, June 26 at the Wildwood Country Club.

Stover has conducted similar workshops and seminars for large corporations, health care facilities and small businesses.

The event drew a large crowd of local business owners and employees who learned new techniques on how to create a “wow” experience for its customers, staff and business, according to chamber members.

Stover spoke and interacted with the crowd by giving them real-world situations to solve and some tools to develop innovative ideas.

“The keynote speaker was dynamic and engaging with the crowd and everyone took with them some new ideas that could help better their business,” said Bob Noel, president of the Middle Township Chamber of Commerce.

The Middle Township Chamber plans to hold on-going speaking events this year and welcomes members and non-members to its functions, according to Noel. The next events scheduled are a seminar on virtual marketing to be held on Sept. 29 and a financial seminar with Tammy Allison, owner of Edward Jones Investments to be held in January.  For more information, call 463-1655 or see www.middletownshipchamberofcommerce.org.
