MIDDLE TOWNSHIP -- Fabulous Family Nights continue through the summer 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., with entertainment for children with special guests and live animals from reptiles to raptors, dinosaurs to seals.

June 28 it's Bugs to Butterflies explaining the difference between an insect and a spider and answering questions like "Do butterflies have bones?" and "How does a cockroach discover its world?" Experts from the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Science will answer these questions and many others.

Celebrate Independence Day July 5 with Born in the USA and the Philadelphia Zoo along with some animals that are true blue Americans.

Adults tickets are $8 for members and $9 for nonmembers; for children under 12 the cost is $6 for members and $7 for nonmembers, and there is a 10 percent discount for families of four or more. For information on weekly programs call 368-1211 or see wetlandsinstitute.org.
