Parade planned in Woodbine

WOODBINE – The borough will host its annual Christmas parade Saturday, Dec. 22.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and line up will start at 5 p.m. on Bryant Street, east of Washington Avenue.
The parade will head south on Washington to Clay Street, east on Clay to Heilprin Avenue, and north on Heilprin to DeHirsch Avenue. It will precede west on DeHirsch and end at the Woodbine firehouse, where the Christmas tree will be lit.
The parade route is about 1 and half miles, and marching units are encouraged to join. Registration deadline is Dec. 14.
Trophies will be awarded for first and second place in best appearing fire company, best appearing rescue; best float; and best marching unit.
Woodbine Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring the parade.
Rain date is Sunday, Dec. 23.
