Holiday events planned at PAC

 CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE -- Students from Dennis Township will present a holiday concert Dec. 13.

On Dec. 14, the PAC will sponsor its “Polar Express” Movie Night. Kids and parents are invited to wear their pajamas as they watch the film.

The Middle Township Council for the Arts will present a free holiday variety show at Dec. 15.

The Performing Arts Center is at 212 Bayberry Drive, Cape May Court House, about a mile east of Exit 10 of the Garden State Parkway. There is free parking.

Cape May County’s John Walters Community Band, directed by Richard Ludwig, former director of the high school’s marching band, will use the PAC stage on Dec. 16.

One of the major attractions is on Dec. 9 with two performances of the New Jersey Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker.”

The professional company, based in North Jersey, has made The PAC its South Jersey home since 1993.

Advent Vespers at St. Barnabas by the Bay, Villas

In preparation for the celebration of Christmas, St. Barnabas by the Bay Episcopal Church will hold traditional Advent Vespers, also known as Evening Prayer and Evensong, at 6 p.m. Dec. 16 and 23. All ages are welcome. The church is at 13 W. Bates Ave., Villas, down the street from Gaiss Market at Bayshore Road and Bates Ave.
