WOODBINE – Michele Pasciullo will show to make mosaic dish at the Woodbine Library Wednesday, Feb. 6.
The demonstration will start at 10 a.m. at 800 Monroe St.
Pasciullo will demonstrate how to attach colored glass to a terra cotta saucer using mosaic. The dish will be able to be used for fruit, keys or a garden birdbath.
Pasciullo is a graphic designer with an associate of arts degree from Cumberland County College. A member of Ocean City Fine Arts League, she has displayed and sold her work at local shops and given home parties and workshops.
“I am delighted that the county library has expanded its offerings in Woodbine to now include arts-and-crafts demonstrations, and hope many of our residents and neighbors will take advantage of this free program,” Mayor William Pikolycky said in a press release.
As part of a follow-up to the demonstration, the library will hold a two-day workshop at the Sea Isle City branch, on Feb. 8 and Feb. 15, from 10 a.m.-noon, to make candleholders.
Contact the main branch at 463-6386 for more information or see www.cmclibrary.org.
