To the editor,

The entire staff of Middle Township High School would like to thank all of the people who spent many hours preparing for this year’s After Prom event on Saturday, May 5 at the high school. The students were treated to an outstanding night of games, activities, prizes and events in a safe environment. With nearly 450 students and prom guests on hand, this event was truly amazing and would not be possible without the time and preparation of the After Prom Committee and its many volunteers.

This year’s cruise ship theme was outstanding.

The students were treated to a decorated building that recreated the various areas of a cruise ship. As they entered the high school, they were treated to walking down a dock for entry onto the ship. I know that everyone had a great time when over 300 students remained until 4 a.m. and were eligible to win additional prizes. Again, thank you for everything that was donated and the countless hours spent throughout the school year, to make this event a remarkable night for all attendees.

The many local businesses who contributed prizes, money and gift cards are truly assets in aiding in this endeavor and its success. I, on behalf of Middle Township High School, sincerely thank all who donated items and worked endless hours throughout the school year to give our students such a remarkable and memorable evening.
