Income tax return forms being filed

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Income tax return forms are being prepared for free through Sunday, April 15, for people with incomes under $50,000.

The service is being provided by the Volunteer Income Tax Program.

Appointments can be made at the:

• Lower Cape Senior Center, 2612 Bayshore Road, Villas, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays. Call 886-5161 for an appointment.

• North Wildwood Senior Center, 10th and Central avenues, North Wildwood, from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Call 522-7611 for an appointment.

• Howard Stainton Senior Center, 1735 Simpson Avenue, Ocean City, from 1-3 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Call 399-0055 for an appointment.

• Victoria Commons, 610 Townbank Road, North Cape May, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays. Call 886-3400 for an appointment.

• Social Services Building, 4005 Route 9 South, Rio Grande, from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesdays and Thursdays. Call 886-3400 for an appointment.

Volunteers cannot complete income taxes if a home has been sold, or if the person has stocks or bonds. Additionally, Schedule C (Profit or Loss), D (Capital Gains or Losses), E. (Rents) or forms 2106, 3903, 8606, and 8615 will not be completed.

Free electronic filing will be available.
