MIDDLE TOWNSHIP – A Stone Harbor man died in an accident early Friday morning on the Garden State Parkway in Middle Township.

The car overturned after a tire was punctured.

State police say that Thomas E. Kraemer IV, 28, was traveling in a tan Lincoln Aviator northbound at milepost 6.5 at 12:10 a.m. when the vehicle left the road to the right, hitting a grassy embankment when he overcompensated.

The vehicle came to a stop and then continued with a punctured tire northbound, police say. Kraemer lost control of his vehicle at milepost 6.5 and ran off the road to the left, overturning several times, according to police.

While the vehicle was moving, Kraemer was thrown on to the grass median, say police.
