County budget talks begin today

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Board of Freeholders is expected to introduce the 2013 budget Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Officials will discuss the county budget at public deliberations set for 2 p.m. today, Jan. 17 and, if needed, at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22.

The budget is expected to be adopted Tuesday, Feb. 26, after public comment.

The budget will be available at www.capemaycountygov.net  and at the county administration office.

The Jan. 22 meeting starts at 4:30 p.m. at the county administration building, 4 Moore Road, Cape May Court House.
