No name yet for victim of Dennis fire

State police say that the remains found in a house fire Wednesday won’t be identified for an additional four to five days.

Sgt. Brian Polite said the investigation of the cause of the fire is continuing through the Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office and state police.

The fire engulfed a single-story home on Woodbine-Ocean View Road around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, and police say the fire started in the living room.

Polite said that while the cause of the fire has not yet been identified, nothing suspicious had been found at the scene.
