Road closings in Stone Harbor

STONE HARBOR – Starting Thursday, Feb. 16, part of Third Avenue between 96th Street and 98th Street, along with 97th Street from the beach to the bay, will be closed to traffic.

Closures will be in place for about one month, and are needed because of utility work, according to Stone Harbor Department of Public Works Director Gregory Sheeran.

Only local traffic will be permitted. Detours will remain in place during the entire project.
