CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – There’s now a 9/11 Wall of Remembrance at the Cape May County administration building.

The wall was dedicated during the Board of Freeholders meeting Feb. 14.

The display includes a 10th anniversary flag with the names of emergency responders who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. Former freeholder director Daniel Beyel donated the flag that flew during last year’s Patriot Day Memorial Service, along with the cross, made from the steel of the north tower of the World Trade Center, that was received from a New York City firefighter and donated to the county by Cape May County Deputy Fire Marshal Rocco DiSilvestro.
