Turkey and food drive this Saturday

CAPE MAY COUNTY – The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is holding a holiday turkey and food drive 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at Acme in Mays Landing, and ShopRite in Marmora, Somers Point and Egg Harbor Township.

The Community FoodBank of NJ at 6735 Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township will also be open at that time to accept holiday food donations.

Items requested include frozen turkeys, canned soups, stews, fruits, vegetables, pasta, rice, grains and other nonperishable foods. Food cannot be in glass jars or bottles.

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey serves 260 agencies in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties.
