Events set at Avalon library

AVALON – The Avalon Free Public Library has many events planned for next week.

The Knitting Club will meet Monday, Feb. 25, from 3:30-4:30 p.m., and all knitters are welcome.

The library will host Scrabble from 5:45-7:45 p.m. Monday. No registration is required.

Story Time is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday, Feb. 26 and 28, in the children’s library. The program will include stories, songs and crafts.

The library will hold an iPad beginner’s class Tuesday, from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

An iPad workshop is scheduled from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Topic is notes and reminders.

An Apple computer beginner’s class is set Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. and an Apple computer course on the app store from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Registration is required for the iPad and Apple computer events by calling 967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk.

The library will hold video game day from 3:15-4:45 p.m. Wednesday. Everyone is welcome.

A two-part Easter basket candy dish art workshop Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. and Tuesday, March 19, from 5-6 p.m.

Participants must attend both sessions. Registration for those 16 years and older is required by calling 967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk.
