Punky is a three-year-old miniature pinscher. He is a friendly little guy and is playful dog that enjoys the company of people. He is just fun to be with. Meet him and you’ll agree. Punky is spayed/neutered and up to date with routine shots.
Patches needs a new home

Patches is a 10-year-old pit bull in need of a new home.
If someone is looking for a companion dog Patches is very lovable. She was recently a pet for a business and given back to a friend’s mom.

For more information, stop by during adoption hours 1 to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; and on Tuesdays from 1 to 3 p.m.

Leyes is a mutt who arrived at Beacon a little shy but seems to be warming up to everyone. Her brindle color adds to her distinct character. This little girl is playful and she will steal your heart. She is spayed/neutered and up to date with routine shots.

Z is a 3- year-old, male, Labrador/shepherd mix available for adoption at the Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. This is Z’s third time at the shelter. He was originally brought in by animal control and was at the shelter for a few weeks before his owners picked him up.

Animal Welfare Society’s pet of the week is an adult, female, black Labrador/shepherd mix named Molly. Volunteers say this pretty lab mix is extremely particular and would like a quiet home where she can relax on a comfy couch and receive all the love and affection she needs.

Peppermint is a four- to five-year-old bull terrier. She came from a kill shelter where she was on the list to be euthanized. She is a friendly little girl but needs to be loved in a home of her own. Peppermint is spayed/neutered and up to date with routine shots.

Hobo was found abandoned around Memorial Day weekend. A kind gentleman took him in, but unfortunately both lost their home when Hurricane Sandy struck.
The gentleman had to move and was unable to take Hobo with him.
