Adopt a Pet > Kane
Written by Adopt a pet Tuesday, April 09, 2013 12:18 pm
Kane is an energetic 11-month-old Labrador mix. He needs some basic training, like walking on a leash, but he does sit and is not as nippy as a lot of puppies. He is showing improvement and consistency with the basics after adoption will make it easier for him and his new owner. Kane is very friendly and puppy-like and wants to please, but due to his lack of training and size it is recommended that he does not go into a home with small children. Older children should be fine and may be an asset by keeping him active. He is spayed/neutered and up to date with routine shots.

Meet Winston
Friendly, friendly, friendly is the best way to describe this three-year-old beagle/hound. She is very docile but needs work on commands to sit. She will stay with you and lay on our lap because she really desires people contact, something that she has been lacking in her life. Can't you find a place in your heart and your home for this girl? She would be your best friend. Winston spayed/neutered and up to date with routine shots.

Written by Staff Reports Tuesday, March 26, 2013 09:52 am
Hope is a young, female, pit bull terrier mix with a brindle coat. She came to the shelter on May 30, 2012. Shelter staff says Hope is about 8 months old. Her owner surrendered her because he or she has been diagnosed with cancer and could no longer afford to keep the dog. Hope will need some training. Shelter staff members say Hope is smart and will learn quickly with patience and consistency. She is house trained. She is good with other dogs and lived with a cat. It is recommended that Hope go to a household without young children because of her size and energy level. Hope’s adoption fee is $95, which includes micro-chipping, spaying, vaccinations brought up-to-date and a free vet visit with the adoption.
