Huey Huey

Huey is a year-old hound mix waiting for someone to come and rescue him. He was brought to the shelter by animal control a few weeks ago and no one has come to claim him. “He is a sweet guy who will need some training since he is young and can be a little jumpy,” reads a statement from shelter volunteers. “Huey should be just fine with patience and guidance.” Also, since he weighs 67 pounds, he would do best with older kids because he has the potential to knock over smaller children when excited. Huey does fine with other dogs and absolutely loves his squeaky toys. All he needs now is a permanent home with playful owners. Huey’s adoption fee is $95 and he is up-to-date with routine shots and neutered.

Mimi Mimi

Mimi is waiting patiently here at the shelter for a home. She is an older cat that needs a lot of love in her golden years. Shelter employees do not feel that the shelter is the right environment for her to live out her days. Mimi is very low key, loves to be petted and is house trained. Her adoption fee is $20 and she is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed.
