The joint was jumpin’ when guests arrived in Roaring ’20s attire at Helen O’Brien’s “Juice Joint” to participate in a murder mystery and enjoy good food all for the benefit The Cape Shore Chorale. Ginny Coco greeted guests while Helen O’Brien, sporting a purple flapper outfit and feather boa, as owner of the Juice Joint made sure her guests had plenty to eat and drink. Kay and Bill Sundermeir arrived early to get good seats for the show. Val Vinal portrayed Helen’s daughter and was later named best dressed female for her red fringe dress and matching sequin and feather headband and boa. Bill Vinal wore a dark suit, shirt and tie and black hat as mob boss Southside Sal.  Director of the Chorale Scott Breiner, while not a member of the cast in the murder mystery, sported a black tux and different mustaches throughout the evening, as they were seven for a dollar. Scott made sure guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and desserts he made for the party. Dolly Neilson has short blonde hair and sported trousers and suspenders on her police chief uniform. This columnist played Flirty Flapper and had lots of interaction with Mayor and Mrs. Biggs portrayed by Oliver and Claire Thies, and Mugsy Malone (Peter Jamieson). Bruce Rahn as Hal Hollywood and Pat Angarano as Gino Gin did double duty pouring wine for guests while playing their parts.
