In the spirit of our fall bridal preview, the staff at The Current surveyed the newsroom, sales department and ad designers to find out their favorite wedding movies of all time. Many had several responses, but were bullied into choosing just one for the sake of the survey. Overwhelmingly, the “Father of the Bride” remake was a newsroom favorite, but there are a few others that received multiple votes. And the list is as follows:

1) “Father of the Bride” (1991) Suzanne Marino, James FitzPatrick, Heather James, Mandee McCullough

2) “Wedding Crashers” Jordan Wompierski, Rich Rolston

3) “Father of the Bride” (1950) Steve Prisament, Judianne Cimino

4) “The Philadelphia Story” Dave Kaczorowski, Rebekah Zumwalt

5) “Steel Magnolias” Claire Lowe

6) “Runaway Bride” Joan Kostiuk

7) “Dumb and Dumber” Chris Beausang

8) “The Wedding Planner” Josette Jester

9) “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” Stacy Wagner

10) “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” Lorenda Knisel
