For their third annual project, the Brigantine Girl Scouts are holding a Red Cross blood drive 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at the Elks lodge, 400 West Shore Drive.

Donating blood is a great way to extend your thanks during the Thanksgiving week and to make a critical difference in someone’s life.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, folks everywhere in the state are in need of your support more than ever.

The number one reason people say they have never donated is because they have never been asked.

Help the Scouts unite as a community while they try to surpass the goal suggested by the Red Cross.

Donors can call (609) 464-1191 to schedule an appointment with a Girl Scout or simply stop in at the Elks lodge on day of the drive.
