A Thanksgiving Season Interfaith Service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20 at the Community Presbyterian Church, 1501 Brigantine Ave. The service will be hosted by Rev. John Scotland, pastor, and his congregation.

The invitation is extended to all of God's children no matter what their denomination, and whether affiliated or not, to come and offer prayers for peace on Earth, goodwill to man.

Rev. William S. Vandergrift, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, and Rabbi Gerald R. Fox of Temple Beth Shalom and their congregations will offer strong support and attendance for this event in which all faiths offer prayers and a wonderful feeling of inner satisfaction and tranquility can be experienced.

An inspirational short service will be followed by refreshments in the church hall.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, it is more important than ever to join in on a one-on-one exchange of ideas, along with the community friendship shared, that will end the annual evening of true interaction among people of different ideologies.
