Forsythe Refuge to present talk on marine mammals

Sara Miele, education coordinator for the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, will give the talk ‘Marine Mammals and Sea Turtles of New Jersey’ 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife refuge as part of the regular Evenings at Forsythe program. The presentation will be given in the refuge headquarters auditorium, 800 Great Creek Road, Galloway.

Miele will discuss what makes a marine mammal different than a fish, which types come to New Jersey, the dangers they face and how the center helps them.
