It’s been almost 10 years since the Beach Bar in front of Trump Plaza opened. Much has changed with the exception of the good time to be had there if you so desire. The size has grown to 21,500 square feet. The stage area for the entertainment venue has been moved, plus they have added a full food menu.

Depending on what your plans for the day, you can sit from 8 a.m.-3 a.m. Dress is as casual as you care to get, from beach wear to shorts, or whatever you are comfortable in, this is the place for you. As long as you are over 21; ages seem to be from those with grey hair, to those much younger. There is a cover charge of $5 on Friday and Saturday nights. The prices differ on the type of beer you enjoy as well as mixed drinks but they do have daily specials. When you get hungry from all that fresh air and sunshine, there are several food choices. From salads, to full platters, to sandwiches, or pizza. Appetizers start run from $9.99 to $15.99. For those early risers, breakfast foods are served seven days a week until 7 p.m. Waitress service is at your side almost as fast as you sit down. Bartenders get your drinks up and out in almost no time. Of course, I think once the season kicks in expect delays with added people taking advantage of the beauty of the location.

As I mentioned there is live entertainment with music, low-keyed during the day and at night the music picks up to dance sounds. There is a D.J. to keep things rolling along. The beach theme is carried through to the music played. There is reggae, plus island sounds as well as hits from the 80s. The musical offerings will please everyone.

The Trump Plaza Beach Bar is the largest of the three original beach bars in Atlantic City. You gain access to the Beach Bar crossing a wooden walkway from the boardwalk. And the fun starts as soon as you get on that walkway. The rest of the good time depends on you.
