Hi, everyone.

"We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations." - Charles Swindull.

I think many of us have said that one day or another, as I think this or that is impossible, but it happens.

I would like you to put this date on your calendar: Saturday, Nov. 10. It is the American Legion Veterans Day Dinner, a spaghetti dinner. I will let you know more next week in my column.

Also, keep in mind Nov. 4. Our American Legion Riders will Ride for the Vets, benefiting local veterans issues. The rides will end at the American Legion Post 352 on Pennsylvania Avenue in Somers Point. There will be a great time from 1-4 p.m. See you there!

Time for a giggle!

Q: What can you hold without even touching it?

A: A conversation!

God bless and stay well.
