Diabetes in eyes

The incidence of diabetes in America is skyrocketing. The average American's dietary habits have changed during the last few decades due to today's “on the go” lifestyle.

In today's world, convenience, simplicity, and expediency are foremost. These demands have resulted in dramatic overconsumption of fast food, thus the unprecedented epidemic of diabetes mellitus.

Diabetes mellitus is the leading cause of blindness in the world. Up to 82 percent of persons with diabetes risk going blind.
