The Brigantine branch of the Atlantic County Library System is launching the Sandy Stories Project to gather videotaped interviews about how Brigantine was affected by the devastating storm.

Everyone in Brigantine has a story to share: residents displaced from their homes; business owners challenged to resume normal operations; neighbors helped by neighbors, and sometimes strangers; or volunteers working to clean up after the storm. All of these and other stories are of great interest to project organizers.

Project organizers hope to share the wide variety of experiences in a video document that chronicles the heartbreak, healing and hope that was found in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
