Police Blotter - DWI arrest

All persons listed are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
For the week ending Feb. 20, the Brigantine Police Department responded to approximately 280 calls for service, including 36 motor vehicle stops (with 15 summonses issued and one DWI arrest).
Yayser Lara-Hernandez, 38, of Brigantine was arrested Feb. 16 by Officer Newcomer and charged with eluding police, DWI, refusal to submit to breath testing, and having an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle.
A 21-year-old Brigantine woman was arrested Feb. 19 by Officer O’Donoghue on outstanding warrants.
