DeLucry joins Cooper Levenson

ATLANTIC CITY – Richard F. DeLucry has joined the Cooper Levenson law firm in an of-counsel capacity. Based in the Atlantic City office, he concentrates his practice on gaming and land-use law.

 Kenneth J. Calemmo, chief operating officer, said DeLucry’s experience with land use and development matters will be a major asset.
DeLucry has guided casino clients through the approval process for large-scale projects, including the Quarter at the Tropicana and the Pier at Caesars. He is experienced in liquor licensing, administrative law, and other casino-related and real estate tax matters.
He served as assistant city solicitor in Atlantic City between 1991 and 1993, advising the city's planning, tax and code enforcement departments. He also served as defense counsel to the city in various litigation.
He is currently counsel to the Atlantic County Improvement Authority.

 

DeLucry lives in Brigantine, where he is a member of City Council. He graduated from Temple University with a major in journalism, received his juris doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law, and is a member of the New Jersey state and the Atlantic County bar associations.
