Kacie McLaughlin, activities director of Holly Shores Camping Resort in Cape May, recently won a three-day trip to Longmont, Colorado, where she will attend marketing expert Jon Schallert’s “Destination Business Boot Camp.”
The trip, valued at $2,000, is described as a “20-hour, three-day entrepreneur business reinvention.”
Schallert, a small-business strategist, was the featured speaker at last month’s free workshop, “Increasing Sales & Profits as a Destination Business,” sponsored by Cape Bank, the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Atlantic City Chamber.
During the workshops, he presented his 14-step “Destination Business” model, which teaches businesses how to reinvent themselves and attract more customers.
McLaughlin attended as a representative of Holly Shores, along with campground owners David and Maggy Robinson, and other employees.
