Child abuse panel

 LOWER TOWNSHIP – The Lower Township Police Department will host the Cape May County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women and the Cape May County Human Relations Council as they hold a public meeting on the increase in child abuse in the county.

The event will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at Town Hall, 2600 Bayshore Road. Several organizations will attend the panel discussion on identifying, interpreting, reporting, preventing and treating child abuse and domestic violence.

There will be a question and answer session at the conclusion of the meeting.
