Four charged after Villas raid

 VILLAS -- Four face charges after police allegedly recovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen jewelry in a Friday morning raid on East Miami Avenue.

Officers with the Sheriff’s Department, including from the K-9 unit, joined Lower Township police in executing the search warrant. According to Lower Township Police, close to $15,000 worth of stolen property was recovered, mostly jewelry.

Two men, one a teenager, are being held on $50,000 cash bail, set be Municipal Court Judge Thomas Hillegass.

Donald Hand-Tozer, 36, was charged in a series of burglaries and thefts, possession of stolen property, and drug possession charges. Also, Clyde L. Reighn, 19, was charged with several counts of burglary, theft, and possession of stolen property, along with possession of drugs with the intent to distribute, police said. Both men were sent to county jail.

Also charged were Edwin Burnell, 51, who faces various drug possession charges and Annette Lieggi, 41, also on charges of drug possession and possession of stolen property, according to police. Lieggi was sent to county jail, with bail set at $2,500.

According to police, the search warrant was the result of a several weeks of investigation.
